About JC Dental Care

My journey began in Cali, Colombia, and eventually led me to pursue my dreams in Houston, Texas. I developed a love for dentistry thanks to my father, a dedicated dental technician. Life took unexpected turns when my partner and I moved to Texas, I became a mother. Balancing family, work, and late-night studying taught me that every sacrifice has its rewards.

In 2009, I reunited with my husband in Houston and embraced a new life full of both joy and challenges. Although my first attempt to have my credentials recognized in Texas was met with rejection, I saw it as a lesson. Soon after, I was accepted into the International Dentists Program at the University of Texas in San Antonio.

After years of dedication and sacrifice, I graduated in 2018 as a Doctor of Oral Surgery with honors. Two years later, with the unwavering support of my family, I fulfilled another dream by opening my own dental clinic in Houston. Every challenge has strengthened my resolve and deepened my faith, and I am forever grateful for the guidance of God, the support of my mother, husband, and children, and the resilience that has carried me this far.
